I keep trying to blog and I keep putting off and putting it off and then it gets to the point where I forget about. Then you get the posts like this that try to cram a large update into a rather small format. Sorry. Anyway, I had a trip to Vancouver for the Olympics if you didn't know. Pretty awesome. I got to see a lot of Ice Hockey and Men's 15km Biathlon. I also met a rather strange German guy. Like this guy had his shirt off for 10 minutes doing something in the 26F weather. He also had a huge noise maker. It was like one of those ones you hold in your hand and spin, but this had a handle roughly the size of a walking stick or a shovel handle. It was crazy. I also found out I really like Vancouver and really want to go back if I get the chance. It's a beautiful city with a great backdrop. Also, it was like mid 40s to low 50s with no snow on the ground. Then I got to go back home. To the snow here. Blah. I'm not fond of driving in it and even though the roads are clear, I'm still not happy seeing it. Plus side, the days are longer now and it's still kinda bright when I get off from work at 6pm. Back to the Olympics, what was up with NBC interrupting the Closing Ceremony with The Marriage Ref and local news? What part of that made any sense. I wanted to see the whole thing through not get an hour interruption. All in all I'm not happy with NBC's coverage. CTV and the CBC in Canada have it right. Anyway, I'm happy to be back home and hopefully I can get fully back on Eastern Time and get back to a regular blog schedule.
So I was bored at work and made two Domo-Kuns at work. In a normal day we get about 60 tickets. Today, I had 17. Win. In other news, the mustache left. I now look like I did circa 2003. It is taking some getting used to. Also, I got off work 3 hours early.
So, it has been some time since I blogged last. I noticed that most of the blogs I subscribed to have died somewhere between 2004 and 2006. Oh, well. So I thinned out my subscriptions. I've also come to the conclusion that I don't like sitting at a desk all day. I have a job that mandates that I be at the desk the majority of my time. I don't like that. But, it is a job and it does have great benefits.
